Hamilton County is a county located in the north-central portion of the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2010 census, the population was 14,799. Its county seat is Jasper. Visit the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center, State Park. Moving dioramas celebrating Foster’s songs are featured in the antebellum visitor center, and outside it’s worth stopping to listen to the warm toll of 97 bells ringing from the 200-foot campanile and see the museum inside. Jasper, the county seat of Hamilton County, is a quaint small town in the antebellum-style of architecture. Walk the historical graveyards and visit when one of the many yearly festivals are taking place, such as the All-Berries Festival, held in the spring, featuring strawberries and other local berries from the area.
