This is the original spring edition of our Sunflower Tour, named after Florida’s Beach Sunflower, which grows only in Florida, blooms year-round, and requires abundant sun and salt to survive.
The Florida women’s cycling community is much the same. The more they sweat and the farther they go, the greater their determination and strength.
In this spirit, we are inviting a group of women to ride with us across the Sunshine State. The tour will start with bus transportation from St. Petersburg to Titusville.
The tour is fully supported, and almost all of the routes use trails separated from motorized vehicles.
NOTE: This tour is meant for you to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bicycle). If you should need to rent a bicycle for the tour, please contact Lisa Lake at (727) 698-8755 to arrange for a rental.
